Dr. Kelsey Kleinsasser
Greater Kansas City, Missouri
Dr. Kleinsasser received his optometric degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL. Before joining Silverstein Eye Centers, he gained his clinical experience at West Side Veterans Administration Medical Center in Chicago, IL; Omni Eye Specialists in Baltimore, MD; and Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, IL. Dr. Kleinsasser also completed a one-year residency with Hunkeler Eye Centers as a clinical fellow.
Dr. Kleinsasser has participated in many clinical studies, including those testing new lasers and procedures for laser vision correction. His work has been published in professional medical journals. He is a member of American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, and Past-President of the Optometric Society of Greater Kansas City
Originally from South Dakota, Dr. Kleinsasser was a member of the football team (NCAA Division II) at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, where he earned his bachelor degree.
Dr. Kleinsasser lives in Lee's Summit, Missouri with his wife, Heather and their two sons, Aidan and Cullen.
