Dr. Kevin Skelsey

Dr. Kevin Skelsey joined Silverstein Eye Centers from Topeka, Kansas where he practiced as a comprehensive ophthalmologist.

Dr. Skelsey completed his 8 years of medical education in Dallas. He attended medical school at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and completed an internship in internal medicine at Presbyterian Hospital prior to starting his ophthalmology training. While in medical school, he served as a student teacher of Anatomy and Cellular Biology. During his studies at Trinity University, Dr. Skelsey graduated Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Skelsey received his ophthalmology training at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Skelsey, a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Medical Association, provides a wide range of medical and surgical eye care, including cataract and laser surgeries.

Dr. Skelsey and his wife Molly have two children, a daughter Ella, and a son Nolan. They enjoy outdoor activities such as backpacking, camping, fishing, running, and golf, spending time together as a family.
